Standard MessagesThe message manager form allows you to modify the standard message elements used to construct the messages displayed on the alarm and query dialogue boxes. You should note that a given message may be constructed from several elements so that you must be careful to make replacements which satisfy all of the uses. Each element is supported by a "where used" list of the forms and objects which may display a message in which it is used. Message UsageTo see the where used list, double click any field of the message. To remove it and return to the messages table, double click anywhere in the where used table. Sequencing Message ElementsMessage elements can be viewed in their numeric order or you can click the Sort button to sequence them according to the first twenty characters of the text. To revert to numeric sequence, click the Sort button again. |
