Strategy SAVIŽ is designed to make reference to diagrams produced in Visio and can reference them directly. Visio diagram objects may also be linked through DDE to the appropriate appropriate sphere items recorded in Strategy SAVIŽ. Setting up this link is described in Linking with Visio.

Recording Sphere Item in Diagram References

You can record the external diagrams used for showing linkages between between sphere items using the Diagram Review Manager, accessible from the Facilities page of the main menu. Individual associations between diagrams and sphere items can be recorded using the diagram reference form. From the sphere page of the main menu, click the diagram form type button and the sphere button for the sphere you wish to work with. This will take you to the Diagram Reference Manager showing only references to the selected sphere. To add a new item, you should move to the end of the existing table and then use the down arrow to go to an empty record. Type in the sequence code identifier of the desired item and the identifier of the diagram. If the diagram is already known its type will appear. If the diagram ID is unknown, you will be asked whether to add it as a new diagram or to abort the process.

Reviewing the Complete Contents of a Diagram

You can see the complete contents of a diagram using the diagram contents review form. From the facilities page of the main menu click the Diagram Review button to display the form. This form is basically a read only browser and you can scroll up or down the table to review the diagrams. To find a specific diagram, click the Find button, enter the diagram id or the diagram name and press enter.
